Last night I was getting artifacts in Arma 3, yet at first I thought it was something to do with the latest settings. But turning on my computer today I noticed my graphics card wasn't as loud as it usually is at 60%.

Turned it up to 100%, barely made a noise.

Opened up the computer and sure enough one fan wasn't going around, gave it a slight tap and it started spinning again. So much for 100% fan speeds and mining, ay MSI? Not sure what I'm going to do as If I send it off I'll have no graphics card to use and thus no computer. Need something to keep my autistic mind occupied :(:(

These damn MSI cards should be recalled as defective

My card has NEVER been used for mining, never had over 80% fan in gaming and never over 60C!

It's still working now, but if it does it again tomorrow it's going back! But what's the likely hood of OCUK returning it as working ok if the fan spins up with them.

That's the thing my MSI 660 was damn amazing, just didn't have the performance I wanted. It seems from then on they've gone down hill, they seriously need to use a different fan manufacture!

No downtime no compensation haha sounds like MSI. They should have looked after people better now MSI are going to have thier rep ruined. I will say it again do not buy MSI from ocuk.

They stink and neither of them value customers. Im still down £100 on my card.

The worlds worst combo i know, Been there and lost £100+ in value of my card too.

The thing is, I lost all respect for them when they had the gall to come onto OCUK, make two posts just to blame every fan failure on overheated mining and running the fan at 100%. Then when the responses came there way, they ran off tail between the legs!

If you read some of the newegg reviews every single person that said anything bad about them they wrote out a huge letter saying your wrong....you must have done something to break it. lol I like some of MSI stuff, but they act like babies when you complain about them.

I ended up finding the part number for the 580 fans and ordered a bunch of them as backups..such was my faith in them. Gave them to the guy who bought my 580's. I also remember trying to go through the rma process with MSI and it was the worst experience I have had with problematic components. They could not accept the cards had faults, pathetic.

Well I was looking at a msi board and 280x... Not so sure now :/ if customer service is this bad.
