Exactly, if I've got a choice (and we usually don't), the thought of my balls dropping off through cancer or flying backwards through a hedge in a fire ball in a TVR or on a bike and dying instantly... I know which I'd choose.

An often selfish and unkind sport, its true... but we all sign up for our race licenses knowing full well the danger that lurks around every corner.

No sport is immune to it as we saw this year with deaths even in marathon running.
