Hi,

My system is running just fine but I feel it's time for a bit of an update here and there. Not made any major changes in the last 2 years or so. Looking at a budget of ~£300. Mostly used for gaming, PS2 mainly just now :P

Mobo: MSI Z68A-GD55 (G3)
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K (Overclocked with Genie on the mobo)
RAM: 8gig of Corsair DDR3 Vengeance (2x4)
HDD: 2 x 1TB (not ssd :P)
GFX: 1280MB Asus GTX 570 DirectCU II
PSU: 750w something or other.

Long term plan is to get recent games running over 1650*1050 at a solid frame rate. Current res limit is partly down to my monitors but I'm looking to replace those too (Not on this budget).

Suggestions of where to put the money to use would be apeciated.

What is the exact make/model of the psu? If it's some cheapo no brand then you'll want/need a new one.

If you can up the budget to £370 then go with a gigabyte 290 windforce or the msi 290 gaming edition, if not then the 280x is your best best.
