Hi all, what sort of budget would I need to keep three (280X) GPUs cool under water? Would be in my garage so aesthetics unimportant.

Initial outlay is high but once the kit is in it can often be moved as the build changes and certain bits still sold for good money (GPU Blocks)

Wouldn't bother if its in a garage though.

If it is for mining, use these mad silverstone fans instead:

They concentrate the pushed air into more of a column to obtain higher SP. Even if you dont use them on rads, this is essentially what you want to use to direct large amount of airflow at something. They also come with the bonus of being able to operate at insane speeds, which is ideal for you since itl be in the garage away from people and cooling is top priority.

If it is a mining rig then rather than WCing, a testbench + two of these would give you decent enough cooling for mining, whilst being MUCH cheaper and easier, with less down time. They also come with its own fan controler, so they don't blow cheaper fan controler's channels.

Speed : 500~2000rpm
Airflow : 60CFM (500rpm) / 80CFM (700rpm) / 130CFM (1200rpm) / 170CFM (2000rpm)
Effective Airflow Range : 1.2M (700rpm) / 3M (1200rpm) / 4.5M (2000rpm)
Static Pressure : 0.7mmH2O : (500rpm) / 1.1mmH2O (700rpm) / 2.45mmH2O (1200rpm) / 6.1mmH2O (2000rpm)
Noise :17dBA (500rpm) / 18dBA (700rpm) / 34dBA (1200rpm)

These are however, 32mm thick, so make sure you can mount them!

I have a pair of the older versions i used for a 200mm phobya rad and out of all the fans i tried, these easily worked the best.
