Just putting together a new loop, using an EK DBAY Spin Reservoir and a D5 motor. I'm a bit confused as to which tube goes where. Should the Out of the reservoir go to the In of the pump? My setup is:

Top - radiator
Middle right - reservoir
Bottom - pump
Middle left - cpu block

So the reservoir Out connector is currently connected to the radiator.

The other radiator tube goes to the cpu block (OUT).

The other tube in the cpu block (IN) goes to the pump (OUT)

The other tube from the pump (IN) goes to the reservoir (IN)

Ideally the res out goes to pump in.
The only thing you shouldn't do is pump into the res.
You can put blocks or rads between pump and res but it may make bleeding the loop harder.

I would always recommend running your tubing in the neatest most easy way.

I would fit some sort of drain with a valve, and if your res isn't the highest component in your loop a fill tube might make filling easier.

So it's just the connections to the reservoir that are reversed? Something the reservoir's instructions specifically tell you not to do!
It's confusing the way it's written but I think that's what the gist of it is so I agree with you the best solution is to swap the tubes going into the res.
