Hello, need some help planning my new loop. I have replaced by XSPC 240 740 res/pump with a laing ddc pro 10w pump and a EK Laing DDC X-RES 140 Reservoir Pump Top.

Im trying to work out where the best position for the pump/res to be:

This is how it is at the moment:

And this is a stripped out pic of the colossus which gives a better idea of the space in the case

My options that i have though of are:

1: Mount it in the drivebay area/ switch the radiator the other way round so the inlet/outlet are at the back of the case to provide more room for the pump/res

2: Put a black acrylic "shelf" going over the psu and connecting the hard drive bays and mounting the pump/res on that. Leave the rad where it is.

3. Remove my fan at the base of the case and mount the pump/res down there.

4. Remove the bottom couple of drive bays and mount it there

What is the best position for the pump/res at the top off the loop or bottom, and where would be the best place for a drain port?

What do you think?

Thanks Tony

mount it at the bottom of the case on the fan grille in front of the psu imo, leave the rad as it is and get a vga block if you can afford one.
