tbh its only fair, you cant have them dodging VAT....
we all have to pay it so why not those companies setup there?
 
As the article says it's more than likely a smokescreen. If Jersey does follow through then again reading the article it says they will more than likely move to Guernsey.

but by the sounds of it they're still charged a rate in guernsey unlike jersey?

Just did a bit of research.

Guernsey currently have the same tax loophole as Jersey and indeed HMV amongst others operate out of Guernsey in the online market.
