Loose 970P Stand

The height adjust on my 970P has all of a sudden lost its stiffness and doesn't maintain enought height.

I'm hoping that there is a screw somewhere to tighten, but can anyone confirm this?

How long have you had it? I haven't had a problem with mine so far (reaches to touch wood)...By the looks of it the plastic trim up the sides of the arms comes off so I would expect a screw/allen key to be there.

Had it about 6 months, and ironically, I've not really moved it much since I got it in a nice position.

I figured that there would be something under those grey clips, but wanted to see if anyone else had done if before I hacked at mine

I've had a look at the side strips, and can't figure how to get them off to adjust it. I've contacted Samsung and they said it sounds like a fault/defect and to contact them via phone.

Thoughts? Do they charge if I sent it to them and they didn't find a fault?

Well it has to be a defective as it shouldn't do that after 6 months,so I wouldn't worry about them charging you.Contact them and see if they arrange courier service.
You sure you can't slip a thin bladed screw driver in there and just pop the covers off?
