loose scroll wheel on logitech mx620?

just got a logitech mx620 mouse from ocuk and opened it up to find the scroll wheel is loose, in that if you spin it, it will continue to spin once you let go

doesn't make much sense to me if this is normal but would like ti find out from others if this is likely to be a faulty one, or just a badly designed mouse?

what a very weird design idea. makes scrolling through web pages very annoying as you end up scrolling too much. thanks for the reply any how

Dude, on the underside there should be a little switch duberry.

If you push it the other side, it should become frictioned as normal!

ah that's great news. will wait until weekend when i'm with the mouse again to try it but thanks for letting me know
