loose Steering

Hi guys, in the last couple of days my steering has become really loose - extra turn going round the smallest corners etc. I also hear a knocking noise when I am parking and putting full lock on. It's similar to when you manually tune in an old TV and go too far and hear a clicking sound.

Any idea what this could be please?

also see if any joints like balljoints or trackrod's are worn,

knocking on full lock could poss be your outer drive shafts, but if ya steering feels loose get it checked sooner rather than later
