Ok so as some might know I traded in my PS3 for a 360 elite during the week ( Halo junkie..couldn't help it ) and will be replacing my PS3 at xmas.
Anyway, well the guide has been freezing up on me since I got it, it freezes for 30 seconds up to a minute at worst and then everything is fine.
Have been reading over at avforums and quite a few other elite owners have experienced the same issue, with live congestion due to Halo 3 and faulty hard drives amoung the suspects ( one elite owner rang ms support and they said it was the hdd and are sending him out a replacement ).
Well has anyone else experienced this problem and should I ring ms to see if they will send me out a replacement hdd or should I take it back to the retailer for a replacement.
Also I got an error message when I turned the machine on this morning ( E78 ) which points towards a hdd error.
Abit disheartned by this after having went through 3 premiums when the 360 first launched.
