Im usually the person that always suffers but I cant say ive noticed any differences in speed since pre Halo 3.

My halo console is freezing either when trying to look at people on my friends list or to see who is online, had to restart it about 5 times and each time I am dreading red lights... Hope it is just a live problem though

The guide freezing up is XBL. It was happening at lunch and then it stopped. Happened when GoW came out. Now with Halo 3 its started again.

Its just busy Live servers. Dont bother taking it back because the next 360 will just do the same.

Anyway, well the guide has been freezing up on me since I got it, it freezes for 30 seconds up to a minute at worst and then everything is fine.

My Elite does exactly the same and has done since I got it about a month ago. There is a definite difference in performance of the xbox guide since getting my Premium replaced.
