Hi,
I got the intel E5200 2.5 @ 3.2 bundle about 2 weeks ago, was great to begin with but I had to take out 2 of my HD as it couldnt seem them, not a biggy coz i was going to sort it out later, then I started to get blue screens and instant reboots if i was in game or when my pc was being idle. Then it seem to be ok but then started doing it again. I fort it maybe my psu not giving out enough juice since I upgraded from 2.1 amd to intel 3.2. My gfx card is an ATI 512ddr5 Golden sample which prob takes a lot of juice, so I put back in my 8800 gs (omg that hurt). seem to be ok which led me to belive it is my 500watt psu not giving enough juice for my better gfx card. Friend of mine said it maybe my better card overheating and helped me do some tests. Put it back in and did some heating test n stuff, never went over 60c full settings on cod5, and the system seem to be stable. A day later I noticed the pc was failing its first boot up but loads up on its 2nd boot, so I looked into the BIOS and it said in a red box the overclock had failed but still says 3200mhz in the bios. When i got onto windows it said 2.5 @ 2.3!! and now sometimes dont boot up atall and gets stuck on the gigbyte screen. Now is my psu not kicking enough juice around if so what psu do you think i should get or does it sound like summit else is failing? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Spec
Intel E5200 [email protected]
4 Gig Ram 1066
Ati Gainward 512ddr5 Golden Sample (4000mhz)
250, 500, 200gig hds
500watt psu (has 2 PCIe cables)
Cheers
