I'm having a bit of a weird issue that seems to have cropped up today. My monitor, or perhaps my gpu is losing the horizontal position. It seems to shift the screen image left, its kind of hard to describe so I took some photos to better show what is happening.
This is the first time it happened, playing BF3:
And it has just happened again playing Skyrim:
Closing the games down doesn't fix the issue, nor does turning the monitor on and off, or unplugging the hdmi lead and plugging it back in. The only fix I have so far is to reboot.
My gpu is an XFX 6850 1Gb which is 5 months old and my monitor is a one month old Samsung SyncMaster S22A350H. I'm a bit confused as to which one might be causing the issue and unfortunately I do not currently have anyway of testing the gpu on a another monitor or the monitor on another pc.
I also have a shot of my current CCC settings on overdrive. I am running 1920x1080 and have not noticed any abnormal behaviour on MSI Afterburner before or after the problem occurs.
Since posting I have reset the overdrive to default to see if that helps, but any advice would be great.
Oh, and it doesn't happen when just browsing or leaving the computer on the desktop.
