This has me baffled.
We have Sky broadband, synced at about 10MB with a Sky/Sagem router connecting wirelessly.
In this house we have 3 pc's, 2 laptops, 2 iphones and an ipod that all connect. The PC's and laptops run Windows 7.
2 of the PC's have Edimax EW-7727In nMax cards and the other has an old Linksys card.
Lately whenever the PC with the Linksys card is either playing an online game or downloading a large file, any other machine/device connected to the internet loses the wireless connection. The machine with the linksys card will then alternate between having connection and losing it. If the download or game is completely stopped on that machine then internet connectivity is resumed for everyone. (machines reconnect to wireless router).
This ONLY happens when that specific machine is downloading/playing online games and this is only a recent development. The other machines can download and online game to their hearts content with no loss to connectivity to any other machine/device.
I'm not really sure where to start with solving this but could the linksys card have developed a fault and be to blame?
