Losing my mind!!! What monitor should i get!?

So I've just ordered parts for a new build, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 + Geforce GTX 1080 Ti + 16GB 3200Mhz DDR4.

Decided I want a 2 good monitor to go with it but the more research I do the more lost I get.

1080p vs 1440p
G-Sync vs FreeSync
144 Hz vs 60 Hz
Possibly 2 different monitors? 1 High end and 1 low end?

I don't have a set budget but I don't want to overpay I want the best value for money.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Well for starters there is absolutely no reason to consider freesync since you ordered the 1080 ti as they don't work together at all. So thats one option taken off the board. Second if money is not that big of an issue i would say pick a monitor with atleast 90hz or higher at 1440p(either 16:9 or 21:9).

Glad I didn't go for FreeSync, ended up ordering 2 x Dell S2716DG 144Hz 1440p G-Sync as these seemed to be the best value for money with good reviews on them.

Gsync is costing you more though so what's to be glad about gsync?

As originally posted, cost ain't an issue as long as I don't overpay significantly. Paying extra for a reputable brand that supports my build in every aspect seemed worth the extra premium to me. I might be wrong, however.
