Losing sound after installing new graphics card

Just wondering if anyone can help me out, installed my new GTX560Ti today, and since I have installed it & the nvidia drivers, my Sound Blaster XFI Music has stopped working, its showing up as active, I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, latest drivers, disabled all the HDMI audio on the graphics card, and nothing!

Running:

Intel E8400 on Asus P5N-E SLI
Nvidia GTX 560TI
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Sound Blaster X-Fi Music

Would it be recommended to maybe just enable onboard audio and use that? Not sure if I would notice much difference or not tbh?

What is the default playback device in the control panel?

Control panel > hardware and sound > sound

Playback tab?

I feel like kicking myself...so so hard

Pulled the jacks out before from above thinking "ok, they're in ports 1 & 2 from the top" err.. no, green jack in yellow port, black in green = no sound, teach me

A: To unplug from above without looking
B: To be on strike today from my job...as a school ICT Tech!
