Hi all..

Firstly sorry for the long story

OK I changed over my hard drive a few days ago.. And was on my pc last night everything fine. I switched it off and went to bed.
This morning I woke to a brand new monitor I had deliver I set it up and switched my pc on.... Nothing.. I had a green light on mobo but a red on thd mobo above it said cpu

I've tried switching memory sticks. I disconnected gfx card and rebooted as nd disconnected memory and rebooted and also the hard drive.. Everytime ... Still the green light on mobo.. Fans start up but the red light beside the word cpu and no beep....

I've took the battery out to try reset the cmos.. Nothing works

Help please anyone

Check the CPU power plug is seated properly?

Also check everything to do with CPU ie seated properly, pins etc

Did your new monitor use a different interface/connection?

All power cables are conected

Radion gforce 1650 ti gfx
2t barracuda hd
2x8 gb vengeance 1600 corsair ram
600w psu
And 8 core 8350 4.0 ghz cpu
Asus m5a99x evo r2.0 mobo

No the monitor just hdmi cable same as the last

The gfx and HD is a month old...
However the mobo.. Cpu.. Psu and ram is around 6 or 7 years old

What's the brand/model of the PSU?

Also, what was the previous GPU?

Psu is a silent something.. Not sure

Previous gpu was a radion HD 7770 series

Iam thinking of putting it into the shop... But my mobo is a am3+... And ddr3
If I have to change a mobo or cpu iam guessing I'll have to change all 3... Could be very costly

Does it work if you plug it back into the old monitor?

No
