Not entirely sure this is in the right thread, but I thought a post looking for help would better suit the general forum.

Ive lost frames
lost a lot of frames tbh

I've lost about 250 frames.

new system.
first booted up the ole cs. we were getting 478 roughly.
now, just under two months later. Barley scraping 200.
veryunstable frame rate too.
Constantly moving

Temps are fine, cpu is 57.3 and gpu is 37-45

system is
Nvidia 3070 oc too abt 2010
ryzen 9 3900x using "game boost by msi to easily oc" "its abt 4.16ghz"
3600mhz vengence
sabrent 1tb 4.0
msi tomahawk x570
850rmx corsair

(Im fairly confident with pcs. not great on terminology.)

I run cs all on low. at 1440 with 16 x 9
few frame difference between 1440 and 1980.
So everything on LOW and still only getting 190 frames.

Havent lost any on any other game.
If anything its gone up (obv due to oc)
I know get as many frames on csgo as I do on Warzone.

Things I've treid
Reinstalled cs
Reinstalled drivers.
Bios update
Tried stoping ocing.
nothings worked so far

pls help my noob ass

1.) Why would you not post this in the PC Games forum?
2.) With that system why are you running it on low, CS will run on a toaster.
3.) Pretty sure 200fps is perfectly acceptable for smooth gameplay.

1) I didn't want to clog the game section with a post looking for help. not entirely familiar with eh forum. but I can post there too. Sorry about that. I know for next time
2) more frames. (ironically)
3)that's not really my issue. Its that something has happened that's caused the frame drop. I would just like help on why. I spent money on a thing, and the thing ain't doing what it once was. kinda annoying especially cus it cost so much.

Check for vsync (if you have a 200hz panel) or a max frame rate limit added via the nvidia settings. For example I force a max FPS of 75 on mine to keep at the max he of my panel ,using less power

What type of monitor do you have? Is it a new monitor? Have you set up the NVIDIA Control Panel settings for the monitor?
