Loss of colour on PS2 - Help!

Hi

I have a PS2 which is 4 years old and has been working fine - until now!

There is very faded colour on the TV screen and now its hard to play games....any idea whats wrong/anyone else had the same problem?

Been on a few websites but nothing of much help is at hand :mad:

Is the cable to the Playstation 2 or TV loose? - no pet teeth marks in it etc?

my brothers ps2 [my old one]
lost its colour

we tried his gamecube / my 360 & ps3 /freeview box
all greyscale pictures

turns out its the tv

try a new tv

Had the problem with a dvd on my old school ps2 (sorry flip the skate video) just came out in black and white

. For ages i thought it was the ps2 (the dvd played fine on everything else) but i tried a different tv for my ps2 and it was in colour. Get a new TV now! (i got one for £20 off some guy who owned a laundrett and it was 24")
