Hey guys, I have just purchased a new modem and it seems to be working perfectly with every computer in the house except mine. The connection seems to drop consistently and I get severe packet loss (Skype + World of Warcraft). I'm wondering if anyone can extract a possible solution from this:

I am 192.168.1.5 - as you can see I frequently reconnect due to dropping connection.

My computer is using an old Belkin 802.11g Card, I've ordered a new 802.11n card to see if that would make any difference but thought I'd post on here just in case anyone else has had the same problem.

Edit: And Signal Strength is always between 4/5 - 5/5

Thanks guys.

Looks like your card is struggling to acknowledge the DHCP offer the router is sending.

Try giving your card a static IP address outside the DHCP range and see if it appears more stable then
