Ensure you don't have any Multi-Monitor cables set up when doing the driver re-install. If you do of course!

Use MSI Afterburner and bump up the volts on the GPU a tiny bit. Fixed it for me.

I'll have to buy one of those cables, i dont have either

i never have had a desktop before. I was just thinking though do those cables transfer audio because i also dont have speakers. I just use the integrated speakers in my tv

try the voltage bump. That can happen with pre-overclocked cards. Or reduce the overclocking.

Maybe due to game res being set higher than the monitor can display? This used to be a problem for me back when I had a monitor that could only display upto 1680x1050

The video drops mid-way. I would be leaning more towards the card needing a small voltage boost, or a driver issue.

ok it happened while in windowed mode now after i had been playing for about 3 hours temperature was about 47 degrees when it happened
