lost all imagination

looking back at a thread I started here last year about what car I was going to buy..well it was pretty LOL worthy.
this year I have to say its gotten worse! no idea what I want to buy just that i want to get rid of my fabia estate in green (uggh!!)
got a budget of about 3k but can push to 5k at max. lookign for something relativley 'cool' decent to drive and not overy expensive to run, 5 seats a must, 5 doors prefered.
looked at things like 2004 freelander facelift, 2006 vectras, 2000 bmw 3 series, newish corsa's, rover 75's.
cant decide at all what i want from a car or which to get tbh.
would love a decent LR disco but unfortunatley only 21 so insurance is mental.

any advice from the wise denizens of motors?

To be honest, what you can get for 3k is going to vary wildly to what you can get for 5k. At this price range, i think 3-5k is too big a range to cover!

I too find it hard to decide between a Vauxhall Corsa, an old 3 Series or a Land Rover Freelander. They are just so similar, its hard to tell them apart.
