sorry if there is duplicate post (i did look)

I have officially run out of idea's!

It must be something to do with Ankh and the statue, i know what the ankh symbolises.... but dam where is this story going.....

I thought it might be something like going back to the beginning of time where Adam and Eve were created?

What do you think?

Remember the episode where you saw the remains of a huge statue that just had the foot left? Well when they went back in time they sailed passed the statue b4 it was destroyed... it was an ancient Egyptian figure holding an Ankh..... And ankh is the symbol for immortality!

Yes they were, first thing i noticed.

the name Kwon on the wall i recon isn't either Jin or Sun....its their baby!

Also its so clear now what the island is about.... its about heaven and hell, the fact Jacob wanted people to come to the island is exactly the reason why God created us, to have someone to love. The "new" John Lock is exactly the same as Lucifer aka the devil, Lucifer didn't agree with God's ways and fell from heaven as a fallen angel.... just look at the things the "new john lock was sayin.......

TO RICHARD:

" Jacob is recruiting"

All of the above is exactly what Lucifer would say to lead us in to SIN!

So in conclusion the island is what a lot of us originally thought its the final battle between good and evil!

Syid is evil however if you look at everything he has done has been done by either other people's commands or for the safty of the people! Which means Jacob needs Syid to kill "new " john lock!!!
 
If Lost say its nothing to do with God and his story of creating us then they have ripped off the bible tbh.... so much of what is happening and what is being said on lost is so linked god, its shocking!!!
 
Tell you what put me off is to see the guy off the Dharma video's presenting Hugo with an award and he hasn't aged a bit! That is retarted!!! I hope they explain that or they really havn't got a clue them selfs.

The characters all died as they died on the island. The "flash side ways" universe is timeless. They all created the world in their deaths to help each other as they were all flawed individuals who were made better people by coming together on the island. As Christian said to Jack some died before you (Libby, Charlie, Sayid etc) and others after you (Hurley, Ben and Kate). This is why Kate said she missed Jack for a long time.. presumably she escaped and lived a happy life and why Hurley said Ben made a good number two even though on the island Ben had only just become number 2.

When they "Let go" of their flaws by coming together they could move on to the afterlife/heaven. Thats the reasons Anna Lucia, Eko and Ben, Daniel and Charlotte wern't in the main room as they wern't ready to let go (in Daniels case his mother was keeping him there as she couldn't let go of her guilt for her part in her sons death).

I think they could have:

Said it was a gateway to another plane of existence, we could have met the gate keepers. They could have then had a spin off series of where the gateway aka island came from. I.e met the civilisation on the next plane of existence.

All the ending basically was:

They all created the island between them as a place they could all face their demons and move into heaven.
