LOST..... How do you think it will end

Having watched it for a second time I am thoroughly pleased with that ending.. yes it doesn't answer all of the questions but I never expected them to.

I can't see how they coulda done it better... it didn't explain Jack (no pun) but it did make me feel that the characters were all happy and had moved on.

Second time round I was an emotional wreck too lol

Lost had me lost till reading this thread and the reddit one.

Im not religious at all and didnt under stand the end. All I could understand is that it was about good and evil.

Could have been better, but at least it had an ending. So many series dont get the chance to get an ending the TV companies just drop them.

All of you guys who are disappointed by the ending; I was at first, then it clicked. A really, really decent send-off in my opinion. :)

Good job LOST.

I've watched the last episode a few times now and I've always liked the way Lost has hinted at certain things by the use of symbolism and subtle visual clues to the viewer right from the first episode, causing an air of intrigue and mystery followed closely by huge on-line conjecture and speculation whilst being mainly ambiguous which some will argue has been part of its success over the last 6-years.

I see a lot of fans have read far more into the ending than others and 'understand' it all finally, while other fans are still as confused as ever. I find it quite fitting that during the final episode there was a small scene dedicated entirely to a 'Quick Fix', a 'Botch Job', I refer of course to the Duct Tape scene, a quick emergency measure that will get you through a tight spot when you don't have the correct measures to do things properly, just this small scene summed up the Finale for me.

Such a moving ending \m/

I think they summed it up pretty well.

And now I need the LOST OST.

I don't believe in a lot of things, but I do believe in duct tape!

Still, a lot of people will like the ending, not because it was good, but because it brings such a long running show to a close.

er..no, people will like it because it was good, just because you didn't think so doesn't mean other people won't like it either

Actually on reflection I kind of agree with various sites/critics on how they dodged many, many questions with this ending.

I was so fused with the finale I actually forgot about them.

I think I will give it a few months and watch through the entire 6 seasons.

hokay ;) So when they crashed on the island they were still alive?

eh. The Dharma guys never crashed onto the island, they found it on purpose. You might be thinking of The Black Rock that crashed on the island.

The Polar Bears were brought there for experimentation by the Dharma people. They were probably used in experimentation with the electro-magnetic energy and possibly the wheel. Hence why there's was a polar bear skeleton at the 'exit point' in Tunisia.

They probably escaped of their own accord after there were no more Dharma people left to watch over them after they all got gassed.

Speaking of the wheel what religion was represented by the wheel in the stained glass window of the church when Jack was talking to his father, or was it perhaps just a joke?

A mate of mine who has raved about this show said the same. I'm so glad i didn't get into this show.

Actually although (IMO), the last episode was bad, the rest of the final season was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

I think a lot of people (me included), wanted explanations for everything, given in black and white. Unfortunately, we didn't really get this. What we were given was a spiritual ending, leaving a lot to the imagination of the viewer.

I'm not really a spirtual/emotional person (which going by some of the comments a lot of you are), so I found it difficult to be "moved" by the ending and found it weak.

The only thing I concluded, after 6 series of being soaking wet in a vest top, is that Evangeline Lilly has no nipples.

I personally thought the last episode was very good. I had to sit for a while and let it all sink in but I understood the meaning after a few minutes.

What is it people wanted answers to? I thought the last season ad a half answered all the questions slowly but surely.
