Hi overclockers

I have a decent PC (Ryzen 9 3900X, GTX 1080) but my monitor is an old 23" 1080p 60Hz Dell IPS.

I am looking to try a new monitor but there are so many options, similar model numbers and so on, that I feel kinda lost.

I guess I should go for either a 27" 1440p or ultrawide 34" 1440p ?

The monitor needs to be a good all-rounder. I mostly use it for various browsing, but I also sometimes work from home (not graphical work but more screenspace is needed) and I also play some games (CS, Hitman, GTA and stuff like that).

So I guess I am looking for:
27" 1440p or ultrawide 34" 1440p.
Good all round performance.
144 Hz or more.
Nice colours and accurate image out of box.
Decent contrast (I know IPS has limits, but there are propably some that are better than other).
G-sync / G-sync compatible
A fairly neutral design (some monitors just sceams "gamer")

I am not too fussed about viewing angles as I always sit right in front of it, So I am open about possibly trying a VA panel if it makes sense?. Also ergonomics and such does not matter much to me. I also think I can live without HDR.

Budget: I dont have a max budget as such, but I was thinking spending around £500 but can do more if it can be justified.
Location: Denmark.

What monitor would you recommend for my use?

Thank you.
