Lost iPhone 5 help!

Hi, Posting on behalf of a friend who has lost their iPhone 5.

What are the options for tracking it down?

I have tried logging on to icloud.com but when I try find my phone it just says no devices online.

I dont believe he has set the app up on his phone so I guess that there is nothing can be done to activate it now?

Have called the local police who have said it hasnt been handed in yet (phone was most likely left in a taxi)

So is there anything else I can do?

A side from keep checking icloud to see if the phone comes online then there is nothing
much you can do apart from, wiping the phone so personal data doesn't get into the hands
of anyone else but if you do that then you will not be able to track the phone if it comes
online.
