First off networking and WiFi is total double dutch to me and so far all has been plug and play and just putting in numbers.

Since my new build PC I have lost iPlayer on TV.

My PC is in spare bedroom and from there I have a Solwise 200mbity thing connected by ethernet cable to BT HH2 - In lounge is another Solwise 200 ethernet connected to TV and Freesat box - The Solwise is also WiFi which feeds my Pure Evoke flow - Now all this worked fine on old PC but now no iPlayer although I get WiFi and Pure radio works fine.

On this PC I am not using WMP if that help's - I have searched through setting's but nothing is jumping out at me waving "hears the problem"

So can anyone help please - needs to be explained in 5 yr old kiddy talk as I have said - double dutch - I can screw part's together but brains bit makes my head spin.

I think on setting up W7 I might have clicked set up Home network or something - can't remember doing that on old one. - Except for Solwise -TV -Freeview and Pure there are no other connection onto PC.

My PC spec is below.

Thanks

Dave

you seem to have only 2 solwise plugs in your description but are connecting a pc in one room your router in another room and a tv in another room thats normally 3 solwise devices!

Errata.

It is correct I only have two - The PC and HH are on same desk - the first home plug is under desk plugged into HH and feeding lounge - Solwise in lounge is connected to TV and Free sat and also WiFi to pure radio in lounge

Must start thinking outside the box after what Bremen said - I thought the iPlayer never touched PC and as the WiFi is working "assumed" plugs and cables were OK - so first job later today is get behind TV and AV stuff and check plugs are in - Can't see Etherenet plug pulling out but the cat was behind there a while ago so never know.

Sorted !

Thanks for your post - it made me think and started from scratch - changed all Ethernet leads over and found unused one in HH where I had old PC connected to while setting new one up.

Easy when you think straight and logical.

Thanks
