lost my internet icon

hi ive somehow manged to lose my internet icon off the bottom of the screen and cant find it lol.....totally new to macbook pros so im lost please help :) :confused:
 
your a genius Mr White ......as for my internet im still not connected wirelessly......i have reset my router so i have no password on the 192.168.2.1 site......so im lost on what to do :confused:
 
when i try to connect to my network i have a list of things......it says airport with a green light, airport settings WITH A RED LIGHT, network settings with a RED LIGHT , ISP with a green light , internet with a green light and server with a green light....not sure if they all should be green?

Did you get the actual wireless key and then do what I said in the other thread?

Macs have a problem connecting to WEP using certain pass phrases so you have so you have to use the actual key with $ infront of it.

Until you get that then I've got no more solutions.

As for right click (i assume rick is right :D ) hold ctrl and then click, that should be turned on as default.

If you want, you can go into system preferences, keyboard and mouse, click the trackpad tab, and tick "Place two fingers on the trackpad and click button for secondary click"

:mad: ive turned my wep security off now and still wont connect its asking me for a wep password but ive turned it off so whys it still asking me for one lol :confused:
 
Sorry, but can you post some screenshots of all your settings. Can't really understand what is going on from your description.

Also, is "lol" the new full stop?

If your using a mouse enable it in system preferences, if your using the touch pad, tap the touch pad with 2 fingers, if that doesn't work enable it in system preferences.

ALso you can scroll down pages with the touch pad easily with two fingers. 2 finger scrolling ***!

:) thanks.....where do i find my image that ive captured like on windows id be able to go in to paint and just paste it how do i find it on the mac?

It captures the image and automatically opens it up in Preview. You then save the image in Preview, giving it a name and a file format. That's none of that past-into-paint malarkey that is finally gone with Vista.
