lost my phone but it was payg can i still block it?

Hello

I have either misplaced my phone or someone has stolen it. It was a nexus s and it was payg. I have the imei so cna i have the phone blocked.

my 3 contract sim was in it so ill have to pop into the store to have it cancelled in the morning
 
i got it from carphonewarehouse will i be able to get it done there

also when i get a new contract sim do i need extra add ons to use blackberry email or will it work without any addons. i have 1gb data with 3
 
Blackberry needs BIS, it's a package that might be free under 3 in combination with other packages, phone up and ask.

To get the SIM and IMEI blocked call 3 support and they will help you.

thanks. I went int othe three store but the sales person there told me that i will need the addon to access bis. I got the feeling they wernt sure about it though.

will 3 still block the phone eve nthough it was sim free
 
I'm not 100% sure on the SIM free issue but it's certainly possible - it's just a database at the end of the day, worth a shot.

BIS/BES confuse a lot of people and because it's sold differently (often it's sold as a "package" with a data allowance to make it easier on consumers) and because of what it is - a sort of gateway into other BB services.

I'd really like to know if they like you block the IMEI, once you've tried could you do a follow up reply saying how it got on?
