So ive lost my phone today! I have to ring up the insurance people tommorow and tell them so they can send me a new one. Will they do this no quibbles or are they your typical insurance company! (Im with Vodafone).

Very soon i will be wanting to change contract. However today i was told that it was going to cost me £148 to do so! Crazy. Whens the soonest to the end of the contract i can cancel without paying something absurd?

The sequence of events of me loosing my phone and trying to cancel my contract of course look really dodgy but i have genuinly lost it!

I think most phone operators allow people to buy themselves out of the contract simply by paying up the remaining months. So the closer you get to the end of your contract, the cheaper it'll become.

For the insurance do i have to report the loss to the police. Idle question...however no one else had it at work or so they claimed so someone has walked away with it.

Should i report it or just ring the insurance first?

Hugo, you truly are a ****!!!

I had mine nicked last summer - go tell the Heddlu you just want to report it lost/potentially stolen, they'll just record the fact, and give you a ref number, then goto insurance blah blah blah.

And I tried to end my 3 contract early, you can't do it, unless you want to pay all the remaining line rental you're committed to!

mello!
