lost my power cord :(

I am not sure how i managed to do it but i think i accidently chucked away my power cord for my main Samsung laptop.

Are the 3rd party ones any good? i dont want to damage my laptop or should i stump up for a genuine branded one.

most laptop chargers from what i have seen output 19 TO 20 -+ volts at about 3amps ISH. so you might get looky and be able to use another laptop charger ...i have done this before and it did work..JUST MAKE SURE THE VOLTAGE MARCHES THE LAPTOPS IN PUT VOLTAGE AND MAKE SURE THE POLARITY is RIGHT -+ JUST REMEMBER YOUR DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK..READ AROUND THE NET JUST TO BE SURE.

just make sure the voltage is the same and the amps at least equal with old charger or bigger.
