Lost my progress...in GOW

So was playing Gears of War and it froze; no idea why plays fine the rest of the time.
Well the long and short of it is that I have lost all my progress, was mid way through act 2, it says no current saves assosiated with this gamers profile!
Is their anyway to unlock the game so I can continue from where I leaft off?

You could perhaps get some else to send you a save not sure if this is against ToS or will mess with your Profile though.

If not it's only a couple of hours gaming.
 
Happened to me too, game didn't crash or anything, i just quit playing and when i went back saves were gone.

Nice bug. :/
 
mine hasnt saved at all since i installed it, at the moment ive just got to stop playing when i get to the end of a certain level and then cheat to load into that level and carry on playing from there, means you dont get your COG tags saved etc but at least that way i can play more than just the first act >_<

How do i cheat to load into a level?
 
im unable to log in to my GOW profile after a reinstall, i cant even get to to logon screen :( how do i fix this, does any1 know i posted this question a while ago but i didnt get 1 reply :(
