Lost my unlocks :(

I just went to play some BF 2142 and alllll my unlocks are just not on my soldier any more :( can i get them back somehow? (i had 11)
 
They shouldn't be lost as you're details are stored on an online server, however the game still has it's bugs and this is one of them.

Temporarily sometime things like unlocks, points, awards and ranks etc disappear and go back to default for some reason and randomly.

It's happened to me a few times.

Don't worry about it it should be back to normal in a bit of time.
 
Thanks, i just hope so cos i would just pack it in and not bother getting them back, i just got my first squad leader unlock and can't be bothered to go back through it all again.
 
Yep, one of the many bugs m afraid. Connect to a diff ranked server and it should be fine. Sometimes i join as a private, it soon sorts itself out again. For all its bugs, its a fun game to play.
 
does it with bf2. if it just you who have lost the unlocks then log out complety, then log back in.

If everyones lost there unlocks the EA server is down and you will have to wait till it's back up.
 
I only find a few maps fun though, camp gib and cerbre landing.
Sidi power plant is allll about vehicles which i dont like,, any maps like the two i play?
 
Tunis harbour is fantastic for snipers and verdun is good fun as if you're recon there are loads of places you can hide to snipe people and then jump out and stick rdx (demo packs) on vehicles as they pass you.

You can tell I like recon.
 
Im more assault and so Camp gib and Cerbre landing are good, sniping seems a bit waste, it should be one shot kill, but its more 2 shots?

yeah does about 90% damage in one shot. so annoying. Headshots are instgib ofcourse but yeah. Such a slow reload if you hit them once they move and hide and usually med-up before you can see them again.

Im annoyed i unlocked the recon tree first.
 
the recon tree was by far the best fun to unlock ... (advanced) Active Camo+RDX+Carbine is just pure death dealing fun , although the zellar is probably a waste of an unlock due to the ammo it uses

the problem of no unlocks when ingame isnt as bad as you may think, the default guns in 2142 are just as good as the unlocked in the right hands, try using the krylov(sp) exclusively for a week , its better than the baur + voss kinda like the ak-47 in bf2
 
i got the active camo and people kept killing me as though i wasnt using it!

Yet when i see people in active camo i cant hit them for beans!

then again, the only people i ever seem to headshot are teammates :/
 
Yeah must be an EA thing as it happens in BF2 as well ... though its fun going into a server just to see how many basic awards you can pick up in a single round :D ... oh and dont forget any new points you make are still added onto your original score.
 
I dont play as much BF2142 as I do BF2 but I picked up NS for under a fiver and so far have played one map :D ... NS sure seems popular though mate and its always better to have something rather than to be left looking for it ...
 
for £5 you cant go wrong, 2/3 maps are great and the Hachimoto(sp) is just pure fun, after the rubbish BF2 expansions EA/Dice seemed to have finally got one right
