Iv reported the card lost, but due to it having my name, bank sort code and account number, is it worth getting these changed?

Yep can never be to safe. Unlucky on the waller part hope there was not to much cash in there?

Errr depends if you like having money in your account or not...

Get it changed right away or at the very least tell the bank you have lost all your bank details with it too...

If you report it lost I think the bank automatically blocks that card and it's unique ID number at the back of the signature strip and send you a new one with a new unique ID.

Should you change your account number? Not really... unless the person working in the bank doesn't follow protocol, a random person can't withdraw money from your account with just that information and your sort code.

Can't say I've ever done that and have lost my cards loads of times :p

Just keep an eye on your account, I think with those details all they could do is set up a direct debit or something.

OK, just wanted to make sure, of course I WOULD notice if any money went missing, as I tend to keep a close eye on it anyway.

Changing bank accounts would be a lot of hassle.

Ask your bank what their professional advice is in this instance. You then have a logged and auditable trace of having done the right thing if stuff goes **** up :)

I'd probably change my account did any of you read about the jermey clarkson thing in the sun? Worth a look.

They got your drivers license? Oh dear, they are effectively you now, sorry but your an ex person and need to change all details to avoid identity theft.

I thought everyone changed their details every 28 days to ensure nobody can steal their identity anyway? Preferably using randomly generated names to avoid dictionary attacks.
