lost odyssey amazing

I haven't played this but my girlfriend played it through from start to finish, got all the DLC, and absolutely loved it. If there was anything else up to this standard for 360/PS3 she would get it in an instant I'm sure.

Had this for ages now and got sidetracked by Silent Hill 2 and the MGS collection. Really need to get around to playing it, it's the only reason I bought a 360!

Yeah I got this with my first 360 around launch time? Played it, loved it. But had a standard definition TV, and the writing and stories killed my eyes.

So I let it go, never finished it. So now! HDTV + Lost odyssey :D

Yeah I was amazed when playing Red Dead Redemption just after I bought my shiny new 42" plasma. I could read the text and everything!

Looking to get into this once I've completed XIII-2!

Well it seems that I love to keep raising this thread from the dead.

But after 6 months on and off and between being away for work I have FINALLY finished this game.

The game was amazing and I really enjoyed, think the only recent RPG I've enjoyed as much recently would be Xenoblade Chronicles.

Any of you guys that picked it up/went back to it finished it? :D

I remember playing this for a few months then dropping it for absolutely ages before finally returning to finish it. Was a great game to finish (eventually!). I think it has an 80 msp add on pack (100 gs) called "Seeker of the deep" for good measure too. Basically repeating floors of some enemies and a difficult boss but not bad for cheap.

This thread made me smile, I'm glad someone else can see how good the game is. If this game was branded Final Fantasy it would go down as one of the best since the PS1 days.

The story and emotion of the characters and their plights was really powerful. Some scenes had me on the verge of tears and even today I have strong memories of the game and certain characters. The dream sequences were a lovely touch and very well written and added so much depth to the main character and the overall story.

It was not perfect, but no game is. I just wish it got more attention because it truly deserves it.

I hated JRPGs before playing this, its only just been toped by Ni No Kuni , but did hate that I had to grind a lot once I hit the final disc otherwise i would get battered

Actually little bit tempted to pick up a 360 and some games (including this) on the cheap (before ps4 comes out). I do remember LO being impressive but the random battles did my head in a bit.

I've always been a big PS fan but when final fantasy 13 came out i got disappointed and ended up buying an Xbox just to play this game so that i could have a taste of the old battle systems again.
I've loved every second of it...
Maybe not the temple of enlightenment...
But the rest definitely :)
