I'm looking for some pointers/recommendations on ear buds. Price isn't that much of a concern but around £100 would be my max comfortable spot unless they are really special. I'm also not too fussed about sound quality tbh just be somewhat decent. Build quality and comfortabiltiy means more.

I just want a pair that's going to be acceptable for working out and not fall out constantly. Mainly weightlifting. A bonus would also be usable in the shower afterwards.

The problem is I thought it would be simple to figure out the waterproof stuff. Just look for IPx8 or whatever and that should be more than adequate but reading more it seems like ear buds with IPx8 rating are not tested for anything else (IPx6 specifially for shower?)

Any recommendations or guidance on this?

Thanks

I managed to get the Galaxy Buds Pro for pretty cheap (£65) but I am not impressed. For the rrp of £170+ I would feel cheated if I actually paid that. Not only that even with the large tip size they are just not a snug fit at all. The right bud has fell out after doing sit ups and I feel myself having to readjust them in the ear after most exercises.

I don't know if I should just try a lot of super cheap ones till I get ones I feel comfrortable with or still go for an expensive set. I'm thinking to try the Pixel Buds A-Series or even Air Pods (3rd gen) next. The Pixel buds seem to have much larger tip size which should help keep the buds in.
