I bought a PC from overclockers about 18 months ago, pre-overclocked but without windows installed.
The PC has a i5 2500K - which was preoverclocked to 4.6GHz. The Motherboard was a Gigabye Z68X - UD5- B3
(it was on 100.3 x 46) - with RAM pre overclocked too.
Unfortunately today my PC was set to sleep (rather than shutdown) and upon booting, it wiped the BIOS (recovered from backup) and lost all the overclocking profiles. I went onto the BIOS and the option to load the OcUK profile had gone, so it's a full loss of all the profile.
Im wondering if anyone has a preset of all the settings they are able to give and/or one of the OcUK staff are able to tell me what the right settings are to resetup my overclocking. Unfortunately its out of warranty so i can't send it back.
Also as it was installed without windows, i don't know how to do it via the EFI bios (not even sure how this works) and i've never overclocked before so i'm worried about messing about with anything.
I have a Antec Kúhler H2O 920 CPU Cooler inside which is pretty reliable so i imagine it can go back to 4.6Ghz easily.
Anyone know of any ideas and/or able to help? I have read through a few guides but i am scared the PC will not boot if i go wrong. (i am not sure how to clear the CMOS or anything if it goes wrong).
