Hello.
I appear to be having a problem with the Gigabyte utilities overwriting my overclock settings. I have an Intel 920 which should be overclocked to 4ghz. However, after installing the chipset etc from the gigabyte installation disc and (accidentally) installing the utilities, all settings seem to be over written. I have uninstalled all utilities. After restart, CPU-Z is showing the correct overclocked speeds, but only for about 5mins, they then drop down to factory installed settings.

Could anyone shed any light on the matter?

Thanks, Harry.

Never mind guys, i'm a noob. The default windows power settings were change by the utilities, just took me a while to figure that out. cheers anyhow
