If anyone could give me a quick answer I would be delighted.

I´ve had a few jobs starting of from 2004ish and I think that from 05 I was incorrectly taxed for a while in every one. So it´s tax reclaim time! But...
As far as I understand it, it´s up to me to provide them with my P45 (which I find annoying as they´ll be the first to pull the money from your fingers AND they get copies). Am I required o have a p45 from every job? Because I don´t, they were involved in an altercation with quite an unexpected fire.
Can I request copies from my employers for years and years afterwards?

Many thanks guys :)

You may be able to get a P60 marked COPY from your previous/current employers. They may also be able to send you a copy of your payslips.

Failing that I would just write to HMRC and ask them to look at the year end figures for the years in question and ask them to make a calculation.

My girlfriend claimed 07-08 tax back with only a February payslip (didn't work in March) and her NI number.
