Lost Planet games...

Guys, what's the deal with all those Lost Planet games currently on sale on Steam? I''ve never played any of them. Which games are they simillar to? Which one of the three is better? Known problems with Win 7?

I have both.
I gave the 1st one around a hour but found i was`nt having any fun.
I would like to tell you what games they were like but i cannot as i dont think i gave them enough time and as i said i just didnt like them.

If it helps i like most types of games especially action games, there is something about lost planet 1 that did not grab my attention.

How about watching some videos on the web to see if they would be your sort of game?

The first was really just a graphical demonstration at the time for the 360. They are not that special.

All 3 lost planet games only have review scores of around 65/100 ..

I remember really enjoying the first one when it came out on 360. Not sure if I want to go back and play it again though as it probably doesnt hold up.

I seem to recall one of the benchmarks being ok, but other than that I can't say these games are my type of thing.

dont bother because they're pretty bad, they're 3rd person and not very good shooters....lots of snow and quite boring :cool:

the 1st game was around at about the same time as GRAW and GRAW was a flipping million times better, so that gives you a rough idea !

Thanks guys! So, you wouldn't consider them not even for 3.5 or 5 euros ( 1st and 2nd)? In Greece this is what we pay for a cofee, so i am thinking what the hell...
1st or 2nd? (3rd is way too much money for me)

PS i used to like Gears of War!

I played the first and the second and I think that the first was better than the second. Get the first one play a bit and if you think you will like it get the second. I would at the price.

The first one has a good FPS benchmark built in....
