Lost Planet MP demo dated

Lost Planet's multiplayer demo will be released onto Xbox Live Marketplace on 23rd November, Capcom has announced.

It'll be free, obviously, and will offer four gameplay modes (Elimination, Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive) with support for 16 players on the "Pirate Fortress" multiplayer map.

There you'll be able to sample some of the game's weapons on-foot, like the meaty rocket launcher, and also tackle one another in the Vital Suits (mechs) that form part of the action.

So who else is also looking forward to this game i think the Vital Suits be quite fun on mp.

I didn't play the last demo nor will I play this. I will no doubt buy it though because it looks like it could be very good.

I'll give the demo a chance. It looks good so hopefully the gameplay will be ok.

Err, why not? To the "nor will I play this" bit? I could understand if it was one of those games you were avoiding seeing anything of because you didn't want to ruin anything, but it doesn't seem that way from your post? Just curious as to why you'll avoid the demo?

I loved the single player demo, and I think this is a definite purchase when it arrives. Looking forward to seeing how this works in MP.

If I really REALLY want a game I will never play a demo of it.
I like to have the full surprise of everything from the first second to the last second on something I'm looking forward to.

Ah, so it is the case you really REALLY want it then - your first post just seemed like you thought it was going to be so-so

I do that with a few games, but alas, I lack the will power

I have managed to avoid looking at 90% of the GoW stuff though

After playing the single-player demo; I think i can safely say, that this game rocks

Hopefully, the multiplayer aspect will be just as good

I really enjoyed the SP demo so I'll likely give the MP demo a whirl as well. It could well be one of those games that will rock hugely over Live.

Don't worry about that as the sp demo doesn't represent the full game anymore as Capcom changed everything so the levels in the demo no longer exist in the full game

Imo this game will be a major sleeper hit. Capcom have already proved they can make quality titles with Dead Rising. Lost Planet looks stunning in everyway.
