The humongously huge thing. I tried shooting out all its weak spots until it basically vomited a tonne of t-eng. Then it came back all healed >_< What am I missing?
 
The worm?

More then 1 of them, he came back healed to me, but a bit later came back damaged - so prob 2/3 of them.

Also - you dont HAVE to kill him to do the level; you do get an achievement for killing one though (it unlocks once you've killed it + finished the level)
 
Its awesome :D

I made it my mission to kill the worm and i didn't even know about the achievement, took me a good few goes to do it on medium difficulty till i got into a pattern.

I just legged it after getting more than a bit frustrated cos I couldn't kill it. I'm getting a bit bored of it all now though, can't see me having it long enough to get past the fourth level.
 
I just ran as fast as I could. Using the hovering mech didn't seem to do much good as the worm knocks it into the air every time. I'm not gonna say anymore about the game as I don't want to spoil it :p

One thing to remember is that you don't need to take out all the weak points on the worm. I think it's 3 or 4, so make sure you keep shooting the same one's. I know this can be difficult because the worm does turn round and you can't see the one's you were shooting.

Easiest way for me was to dismount a Mech's Gatling Gun and use that. Kill it, then run like hell because another will appear very shortly.
 
Was on the worm level yesterday. I shot out all the yellow spots on the damn thing and It didn't die, It was still going round as normal.

Got me a lil ****** off so I changed game.

Do you know the worm respawns? When you kill it there's a big pool of T-Eng also the music stops. Then a few seconds later, a new worm appears. The give away will be the new worm will have all it's yellows circles in place.

Yes I know. What I'm saying is, I shot all the yellow spots on the thing (Head and tail) but It didn't die. The same worm was just going around as normal. How else am I supposed to kill the thing?

Just pop a few caps in it's mouth, that's what I did. There's a bug on final boss, who doesn't die when on zero health. Maybe theres the same bug with a few others.

You know its dead when the music stops, but tehre are 2 worms aswell so just stay in that first section and just keep shooting, killing the spots does it quicker and id suggest aiming ther ebut he slowly takes damage from other parts of the body too
