Lost Ram ??

Ive just installed 4gb of DDR2 RAM on my PC but its only showing 3.25GB in windows system information

my motherboard is abit ip35 pro xe

Is there any way to fix this?

Are you using a 64bit operating system?

Im assuming you are running a 32bit OS?
Not to worry, its the limit of 32bit addressing. Only way to solve it would be to use a 64bit OS.

Plenty of info kicking about if you google it, if you're on a 64bit OS it MAY be a motherboard limitation, the manual should clarify that though.

Be careful though, I had Vista Home Premium 64 bit and had to scrap it cause it doesnt support old 16 bit programs/games... =|
