Long story short I have lost my service history logbook for my car. No idea where its gone but I suspect the great recycling bin in the sky.

It had a full service history when I bought it 3 years ago (06 plate Jazz) and I have had it serviced at the same dealership each year since I got it.

I assume I am able to get a replacement from the dealership and have them fill it out for the services carried out by them (I have all the printouts they gave me each time) but have no way of getting the service stamps for any servicing carried out prior to me buying the car.

Is there any way of me obtaining the service history and getting the logbook filled out and is it even worth doing? I have no intentions of selling the car any time soon but it irks me that should I wish to I have either an incomplete or non existant history.

Any advice appreciated.

The dealership should fill in a new book for you, or if you don't want to buy a new book from them they will normally provide you with a printout which gives much the same info
