Lost touch with all the new cards, need help

Hi, Iv'e been running two cross fired AMD HD5850's for the past couple of years and think it's time to upgrade. I want to go to a single card but I'm not sure what I need to go for to get a decent upgrade in performance. My budget is about £250 or under.

Wait to see what AMD do in the next 2 months is my advice, as they are due to announce the 9000 series very soon and they could be very competitive.
