Lost USB Transceiver for Wireless Mouse/Keyboard

Hi All,

I've lost my USB reciever for my Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse. Is this a case of having to throw them out and buy a new set or is there something that can be done?

Its a 5000 series mouse and 3000 series keyboard. Was brought as a set and had one dongle for both.
