Would anone please be able to assist with a WiFi problem I have with my laptop?
The laptop WiFi adaptor is enabled and is showing as active via the WiFi light on the PC, however, it is not picking up any WiFi sources. I have refreshed the scan for available networks and it is still not detecting anything. I have it on a desk about 3 feet away from the router and normally it would pick up my router signal and around 5 or 6 neighbouring signals.
I think that there must be a check box somewhere in the operating system that has somehow become flagged to disable the WiFi software but not the hardware adaptor ? The OS is Windows XP SP3
