Lost...

I seem to have lost the icon in the system tray and in the network connections window for my wireless connection the only thing i have in there is my network card and i have no idea where they have gone!

Any ideas?

I have XP pro BTW

sounds like either the drivers where unistalled or the card has popped out.

Thats just it the wireless works but there is nothing in the system tray and nothing in the network connections folder.

But like i said the wireless still works?!?!?!?

In the properties of your network connection there should be a tick box which says something along the lines "Show when connected" tick that box and your icon will be restored.

Is your network card showing in device manager?

Its not a network card its a wireless dongle and yes it is it is all working i a using it now

You're using your wirless connection and your wired one at the same time?

I plugged the wired one in cos i was messing about with the wireless one but even with it in it does not show in there or even in the system tray
