Anybody heard the new the new lostprophets song "rooftops"?
Its been on kerrang this morning i was just like..."wow" , its awsome to be honest lol

New album out june 27th...cant wait :D

Pretty average I thought :/

They went downhill after Shinobi VS... (and then went back, re-mastered that album, and ruined it in places too, luckily I have an old version :D). Start Something is good in places, and they put on a fairly good show live (first and last time I will ever crowd surf :p).

Oh and in the terms of the video, it looks exactly like a Linkin Park one, which is no good thing. And my god, the "actors" in it look like the biggest bunch of fags ever. All hail the myspace revolution, as it seems to have infiltrated into the Lostprophets (they've evidently spent a lot of money styling their hair for this video!).

Video kinds sums up my feeling towards the song really now I think about it, it just all feels really over-produced and glossed over. I shall listen to the new album when it comes out though, hopefully will have some good tracks.

They've been doing that since the day they cancelled their UK tour to go to the states and re-record the first album.

Yeah, I was just going to say that. They've always dressed "well".

In my opinion, they're crap and always have been. They look ridiclously gay in the video for this song too. I've never been a fan and they're particularly bad live (although, they were a lot worse back in the nu-metal days).

I was half expecting them to come back all metalcore now. Since they seem to be very good at following the trend musically.

I just listened to it and it's poor.

It constantly feels like it's building to some quality fist album riffing for the chorus, and just never gets there. The song goes nowhere and is pretty forgettable quite frankly. Definitely lacking rockage.

Oh, and I thought they were decent when I saw them live, which was just post-2nd album iirc.

I'm very undecided about this new track.

Me and my brother saw them at Rock City last year and it was 'the' best gig I've ever been to. So when tickets came on sale again for the new album tour last week I grabbed some straight away.

It's definatly not as hard or rocky as I would have expected. I would have hoped for something inbetween the first two albums. So will be interesting to see if this track is a good indication of the new album or if it's just an easy listening track to start off with.

The songs ok but the video is dreadfull.

The lead singer never used to bother me but in this video I just want to beat the "emo-ness" out of him  :p

And whats with the guy with the two piercings on eitherside of his bottom lip, makes him look like a **** :p

Clearly before - thankfully I still have the demo's from their website 'back in the day'.

Managed to get it on tape before they managed to murder it. They had potential but lost the plot totally. How can massive Slayer fans sound so pop i dont understand. Giving South Wales a bad name :p

Before or after they re-recorded it at their new masters' behest?

I remember when The Fake Sound of Progress was my favourite song at the time. Before they murdered it. It was so good.
